Cappa the clown
was introduced to a
local seaside holiday camp called the Pitch n Putt, North Shore in
2000.
Cappa soon made friends with the
children and holiday makers from all over the country and some as far as
Holland. Entertainment came to be the itching for Cappa when in 2001 he
took over the childrens room. He had lots of new ideas, including
childrens karaoke night, fancy dress, Easter bonnet competitions, talent shows
and much much more. Not only was Cappa popular with the children but parents
liked him as well, they enjoyed taking part and becoming part of the
evening. Well liked everywhere, Cappa also takes part in carnivals and
took side stage to the group Black Lace of Agadoo fame at Happy Days in Chapel
St Leonard.

Who is Cappa? He'll tell you
Hi, I'm Cappa the clown, well
known across the Lincolnshire coast for making children happy. I am a very silly
and forgetful clown, and rather on the large size. Should we say I like working
with children too? You may wonder how I dress, as many of you will
have seen me you will know, but for those that have not then I will tell
you. Well, I have a very strange taste in clothing A bright as bright can
be and like my make-up very colourful looking too.

How do I entertain the
children?
Perhaps you wonder how I
entertain the children. Well, With my sweet bucket and my mini disco, we go to
work with lots of different things. We start by introducing ourselves so
no one feels out of place because I'm don't want to be a stranger to anyone.
Then
we do a warm up with one or two party dances and games. We like to think we
can play bingo because its not just for Mums and Dad's , we play for
prizes. we include different themes such as snail racing, teddy
bears picnics, magic, balloon modeling and it goes on.
Cappa likes to think that he does
a good job for all and likes to have a chat to the parents when the show
is finished. Cappa entertains for approximately two to three hours ending with a
disco. |
|
| Mums and Dads will be pleased to
know that Cappa has been CRB checked with Police and Local authority to work as
a childrens entertainer. |
