Its Thanks to Sandie, of the East Anglia Cliff Richard Fan Club, that we'd been     invited to celebrate Cliff Richards Birthday on the radio. Sandie had agreed to do a phone-in for the radio station with her friend Linda, and put themselves on the line to answer questions from  Mark Murphy the presenter (how does he stay so cheerful at that time of the morning!!). Sandie and Linda arrived just after us and it was more coffees all round. How do people manage to get up at this time of the morning!!
Pete and I went into the studio and Steve set Pete up to sing his songs, then we chatted to Mark on the air, and Pete sang Living Doll acoustically (very well indeed, considering the time of the morning).- more coffee - Sandie and Linda then went on air and did an amazing job answering questions  from Mark and the listeners. Lots of people phoned in to discuss Cliff's future, but most were in agreement with Sandie and Linda, that he should continue to perform and make records for as long as he feels he wants to.  After a short break Pete came back on and sang Summer Holiday.- more coffee -  We had a really lovely morning, everyone was so nice and friendly. The sun was now shining and the trip home was far less stressful.
Radio Suffolk 14th October 2004

On the 14th October we got up at 4am to travel to Ipswich to appear on Radio Suffolks' breakfast show (what time!!!). The weather was dreadful and we were beginning to wonder if we had made the right decision in saying yes. But we got there eventually for 7.30am and were treated really well. An extremely cheerful Steve greeted us and offered us coffee and we calmed our nerves after the awful journey.
